Maybe they're already here, but until I get around to looking myself... also maybe this will encourage people to put up recipes they're hiding at home...

Title says all. All my old favorites I remember from childhood have raw eggs or egg whites or something and I am no longer comfortable with that. Various flavors of homemade parve ice cream, chocolate mousse, creamsicles...

Special interest in pesachdik recipes at the moment but also interested in others for future reference. I can't imagine what chometz you'd put into basic ice cream or mousse, anyway - if you make it in a pie crust or something you can just skip that on pesach.

Are you okay with cool (parve) whip?

I have made frozen concoctions for regular Shabbosim that are a mixture of whip and instant pudding. I don't have a recipe, and I haven't done it for a while. (I've been shelling out the $$$ for So Delicious pareve ice creams!) I think I made the instant pudding with less pareve milk than the recipe called for and folded in the prepared whip. If you use vanilla pudding, you could stir in fruit purees for variety.

Overtime, is there an alternative to Rich Whip if you don't use raw eggs? Just curious. I'm neither for nor against it. I'm sure it's chemical garbage but whatever. I don't know, the creaminess has to come from somewhere and if it won't be milk or eggs and I think soy is kitniyos... what's left?

Aidel, that sounds nice n easy! Maybe will try one of these days!

The No-egg ice cream #4905 seems pretty similar just with quantities. And cookies, which I guess you could omit for Pesach, though I bet they add a lot.

Cookies and cream makes sense to me and also sounds pretty tasteless. It's basically whipped cream with cookies. Bleargh. But sense, yes - if you whip something and freeze it you can pass it off as a parve ice cream. The kind that I DON"T want to eat. I guess the cookies are there to mask the taste, or lack of taste, whichever. (and 18 hours has GOT to be a typo. Or the contributor needs a new freezer)
